Well, it’s official! My SVEN CARTER series is set to debut with Simon & Schuster / Aladdin in the fall of 2017. I’m so excited to introduce Sven to the world!
Book 1: SVEN CARTER AND THE TRASHMOUTH PROTOCOL (Fall 2017)
Sven Carter is just like any other 12-year-old kid. He loves video games, hates homework, can burp the alphabet (well, up to J, anyway). There is one little thing that’s different about him, though. He’s a Tick — an incredibly human-like synthetic life form. And when he learns that on his 13th birthday, he’s programmed to unleash a virus on the world so virulent it’ll wipe out the entire human population of Earth in a matter of weeks, he’s not too psyched about it. After all, his friends all live on Earth. So it’s up to Sven, his best friend Will and Alicia, the girl who would like nothing more than killing him, to find a way to save the human race. Or die trying.
Book 2: SVEN CARTER AND THE SIX TICKS OF THE APOCALYPSE (Fall 2018)
The second book of the SVEN CARTER series follows Sven, Alicia, Will and the half-insane Ukrainian scientist who calls himself Junkman Sam as they try to track down the other six Ticks that have been living undercover across the US, each with his or her own secret orders to eliminate every human on the planet. It’s a race across the nation — and a race against time — as the four pull out all the stops to keep the world from falling into the hands of the enemy.
